Crowns
Having a healthy and bright smile gives everyone a boost of confidence. If a tooth has been fractured, excessively worn, effected by fillings from the past that failed, or from periodontal disease... today's advancements can give it new life. For his patients, Dr. Rosenblatt's commitment to conservative dentistry provides the options that can help your natural tooth feel and look its best.
Dr. Rosenblatt uses only the highest-quality, durable and lifelike porcelain available today. Hand-crafted by an expert porcelain artist under Dr. Rosenblatt’s direction, your restoration will feature the realistic, fine detail and color layering that a single-visit crown cannot produce.
Your crown should also fit you with precision, for aesthetics as well as important function. This is one reason why our patients trust Dr. Rosenblatt, who fully understands and addresses the bite alignment and long-term success of your smile. Contact our Beverly Hills dental team to learn if this solution can bring out the best in your smile.
A porcelain crown is ideal when a significant amount of tooth structure must be replaced, in order to restore and enhance the shape and function of your teeth - without needlessly trimming any of the remaining healthy material.
In two visits, your new crown is fitted and complete. The first visit involves impressions and a provisional. At our Beverly Hills dental practice, Dr. Rosenblatt strongly encourages the use of provisionals, so that you can be sure the crown is comfortable and looks just right. Once you are completely satisfied with the look and feel, your crown will be expertly bonded to the tooth, for superior protection and strength.
Although many dentists opt for a full crown, Dr. Rosenblatt can often achieve your objective with a 3/4-crown or half-crown, saving your precious tooth structure. Only the highest-quality materials are acceptable: Empress, LAVA or Zirconia-brand porcelains used by the most prestigious cosmetic dentistry associations, without metal support required.
“We never cut corners on the quality of the materials inside your mouth. I wouldn’t do that for my own teeth, and I won’t do it for yours. Only the very finest materials will do. My standard is the best results available in dentistry.” -Dr. Ronald Rosenblatt, Beverly Hills Cosmetic Dentist
